17 Most Famous Architects of All Time (timeout.com)

I was happy to see Frank Lloyd Wright mentioned in this article, as his clean line architecture and his passion for indoor and outdoor space is very interesting.  I had never read about Philip Johnson and though his Glass House was really interesting.  It blurs the lines between inside and out even more than Frank Lloyd Wright.  I enjoyed reading about Jeanne Gang, being one of the new famous female architects.  She designed 2 of the tallest buildings in the world, both located in Chicago (The Acqua and the Vista Tower).  Her use of patterns and irregular shapes is interesting.   When I saw the photo of Daniel Burnham’s Flatiron Building in NYC, I recognized it immediately from a vacation I went on in New York City.  It is very memorable as it is faces a major open area of New York City the tall uniquely shaped building blends into the landscape.
